The Princess Mayan Riviera was an excellent experience.  The resort itself is beautifully landscaped and well maintained.  It is a large resort however they have shuttles if you do not want to walk.  The beach is beautiful but a little rocky at first, so bring water shoes.

The Platinum area was well worth the extra cash; we had our own private lounge which had computer access, private bar with butler service, snack foods put out all day long and our own pool area with small cabanas. The staff treated us very well in all areas;we ate at 3 of the buffets and 4 of the a la cartes, which were good-would recommend the Japanese Tapanaki.

Entertainment was good with nightly music and shows.  Great place for all ages including families.  The entire trip was a success!

Thanks for your help and we will go back to the Princess in the future!

The Paradisus Princesa del Mar in Varadero was great!  The resort has a really nice layout and is a perfect size.  Our villa was close to the beach with a wonderful view.  Clover leaf pool, lots of chairs and great bar service.  The food was very good-had omelet station in the morning at the buffet.
Grills for meat and fish used for lunches.  They had Cuban buffet ight which was awesome (grilled lobster included)!  With 5 a la carte restaurants the choices were good, only the oriental was just ok.  Overall the service was good, Cubans are awesome and the vacation was great!!!! Would definitely recommend it to my friends and family.

Just back from the Bahia Principe Ambar in Punta Cana.  This resort was Adults Only and had immaculate grounds.  The beach was great for walking/swimming and the pool was quiet with no water games taking place.  The breakfast buffet was magnificent with a large selection of fruits.

The a la carte restaurants offered extensive options and great service.  Rooms were very nice, clean with large balcony and nightly turn down service.  The entertainment was limited but you could to their resort next door and enjoy a live band in the courtyard or their nightly shows.  There are many little shops and vendors come in on certain days.  The casino and disco are lots of fun.  We had a great time and would go back in a heartbeat!

Thanks Travel Excellence for your recommendation!

We all had a great time at the Iberostar Beach. Food & the complex grounds were excellent.

When we walked from our rooms near the lobby out to the beach, we followed along the pool, & it seemed like there was no end to the pool. It was very large.

When you first arrive, it is very easy to start walking and not know where you are at. The whole Iberostar resort is very large. To assist visitors, they have set up decorative lighting along the walkways to identify which section of Iberostar that you are in. Each resort has a different shaped light to let you know which resort you are walking through.(Beach,Lindo, etc)

There was an abundance of vegetation, flowers and trees which made it seem like a tropical forest. Lots of birds wandering on the grounds.

They offered a tour of the Grand resort. It is only 1- 2 years old, and gave you the impression of where royalty might be staying. Included butlers in room, high tech room with motion detectors to turn lights on & off automatically, etc.

We also walked though the Lindo & Maya and were very impressed with their complex. Interesting and very extravagant sights. They also had A/C for the lobby and their dining areas. Most of the restaurants at the Beach & the lobby were open air. Our room was well air conditioned & easy to control.

Internet was available in the library at the DelMar (60 pecos for a half hour). Not available in the rooms.

USA 3000 did a great job with flight.

We were at the airport in Mexico for about 2 hours before our flight home, and were extremely impressed with their new terminal.

Thanks for your help.
